MRR Radio #1473 - 10/4/15 - Service Interruption

Here's a link to the MRR Radio show I hosted a few weeks ago. I forgot to post it earlier. Obviously, I haven't been posting on here in quite a while and with very little regularity. Things have been pleasantly busy and hectic in the day to day. I can't complain. I'm planning on returning to the blog in late December with a pile of moldy ass tapes for you to enjoy. Until then (and after then), feel free to check out Terminal Escape for all of the fucked up tapes you can handle and keep on keepin' on.

Also, check out this picture, taken by my friend Robert in Mongolia...

MRR RADIO - #1433 and #1441

I forgot to post these here, but they've both been posted on the MRR website for weeks now. On episode 1433 of the radio show, I was joined by my neighbor, Jason, who plays in PERMANENT RUIN and JOYRIDE. On episode 1441, I hosted it alone and made a lot of mistakes. Enjoy.

MRR RADIO - #1425

This week on MRR Radio, I hosted the show with Lyds. Since we were recording on Halloween, half the show is Halloween themed. The other half is all newer stuff.  I think it turned out pretty good. CONEHEADS are still encouraged to send me a copy of their tape or tell me how to order it.

MRR RADIO #1409 and Service Interruption.

Travis and I hosted this week's MRR Radio, playing a ton of newer records and tapes. Take a listen if you feel like it. I think we did a pretty good job.

Also, there won't be any new posts until mid-August because I'm away from my room for a while and then I'm moving into a new house. Stay realer than real.

MRR RADIO #1401

Life is busy. I forgot how to sleep. My hand hurts too much to type. I did a radio show with my friend Pars this week on MRR. Check it out. More tapes soon.

MRR RADIO #1303 - 7/1/12

I forgot to mention this a few weeks ago when it happened, but here is a late link to the MRR radio show I did recently with Hal, Merm, Rob and Ron. This one was a special one...It was the 10 year anniversary of Maximum Rock n Roll Radio being on the internet and the 35 year anniversary of the radio show. 35 years! Someone told me that MRR was the first radio show to broadcast on the internet, thus giving birth to podcasts and internet radio, but I'm not sure if that is true. Thoughts, anyone?

MAXIMUM ROCK N ROLL RADIO

Today, I got up around 10 am, made breakfast, biked across town and recorded a radio show with my friend Alex. Then, we visited our friend Emmalee at work, ate a slice of pizza while surreptitiously drinking beers at Serrano's and I biked home and got to sit down for about 20 minutes before riding my bike to work in the rain. Now, I am working a 12 hour, all-night shift. In addition to doing my regular tasks (if any of my bosses happen to be reading this, I am NOT SLACKING OFF AT ALL), I am also editing down a 17,000 word interview with my band, writing demo reviews for Maximum Rock N Roll and trying to catch up on my mail. I'm not complaining. I love the shit out of my life and I'm happy to be this busy. What I am getting at is that I don't have the time to write about any tapes today. Why don't you listen to the radio show that Alex and I DJ-ed instead? We played new stuff, old stuff, songs by our friends and songs by our potential friends. You'll love it. Be sure to check back later for more tapes from my shelf. Click on the link below to listen to the show.

MRR RADIO #1269 - 11/6/11

No rotting, low quality tapes or long ramblings about some southern band that  you don't care about today. I just wanted to post a link to the Maximum Rock N Roll radio show that I DJ'd, along with Rob and Vicente. It's my favorite show that I have been on thus far. Very diverse and lots of fun. Check it out.
Stay tuned for Maximum Rock N Roll!!
