  1. May I recommend dresser drawers. Ha ha That's where I seem to keep all of mine because I can not find (or am I willing to pay) for tape shelves. You and Robert are INSANE with the amount of tapes you both have. I am extremely grateful that you both do, though.

    Thanks

  4. greg,

looks like you have 2 copies of that grumpies tape. any chance you'd sell me one? also curious as to what's on the "spam nation" tape. is it by any chance a SPAM records comp?

    thanks,

    jon

  5. The thing about that Grumpies tape is that it is actually 2 different versions. They released the demo and then decided that they could do better, so they re-recorded all the same songs and put all the same samples on it. So, I actually have two different recordings with the same tape cover. So, no, I'm not selling it.
The Spam Nation tape is something I found in a free box and I've never listened to it until right now. Currently, it is terrible. I don't think it has any affiliation with SPAM records. It's a band...really jokey and from Pleasanton, CA. I wish it was a SPAM Records sampler.

  6. Hey Greg, is that Hickey/Miami tape live stuff, and if so, will you upload the Miami tracks at some point??

  7. The Hickey stuff is things that may appear on the soon-to-be-released Various States of Disrepair LP. http://www.1234gorecords.com/. If they aren't on there, I'll put it here in the future. The MIAMI tape is a practice tape that isn't all that exciting. It's the same songs that appeared on their LP, but it's recorded on a boombox. You're better off with the "studio" versions and you're not missing anything.

  8. Oh ok, cool. I was hoping for some lost Miami jams!

  9. Are any of these tapes by shithead jones or scrotus? None of us kept anything we did and i cant find any record of our existence

  10. Shithead Jones will make an appearance in the near future. Scrotus has been lost to the great mixtape bin in the sky.

I drink red wine since 2 hour alone so i'm little drunk and i gonna try to answer. Wooooo! I think it's the same band. I heard this band on this compilation (http://www.discogs.com/VA-Benicia/release/2900691) so I think it's the same band. I love this band and I search some informations about it since so many years! It would be awesome! Thank you som much. It's so hard to have some informations about this band.
